The new home of the SES at Mission Beach is more comfortable thanks to a $1000 sponsorship from ECU Australia.
The donation enabled the group to buy a new air-conditioner and washing machine for the new headquarters on Webb Road, alongside the township's other emergency services.
"The Mission Beach SES benefits the whole Mission Beach community so we're very pleased to help them ...and in turn know they will be better equipped should our Members and other residents need assistance in the future," said Amy Smith, ECU Australia Cassowary Coast branch manager.
