We are currently aware of a brand new scam that is currently circulating in the community.
Members are indiscriminately called by an automated message system reportedly from your credit union, a message is transmitted advising that your card has been stopped or a transfer has occurred, a request is made for you to start imputing information regarding your account.This is a hoax and any input of information could inadvertently put your account at risk.
We again take this oppurtunity to reiterate to our Members that ECU Australia will never contact you requesting personal information.
