ECU Australia Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer
ECU Australia, the region’s largest locally based financial institution, announced today that Ben Tooth has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Ben will be based at the company’s Head Office in Cairns.
Ben has extensive financial experience gained working in Australia and London. He is a specialist in the areas of internal and external audit, compliance, regulation and risk management. He previously held the position of Senior Manager – Audit Division at KPMG. Ben has been closely associated with ECU Australia for the past three years through his internal audit role at KPMG.
“Ben’s impressive financial and analytical background makes him a great fit for his new role at ECU Australia,” said ECU Australia’s CEO Colin Daly. “Plus Ben already has a solid understanding of our business. We welcome him to our team and look forward to his contributions in the financial, administration, IT and compliance areas.”
Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Information Technology and is married with two children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and trying to stay fit and active.
