ECU Australia Extends a Helping Hand to PNG Credit Union
In line with the Credit Union ethos of ‘Co-Operation’ ECU Australia senior executives meet with David Munaga, the CEO of Air Niugini Savings & Loan Society during his recent visit to Cairns.
The focus of the visit by Air Niugini Savings & Loans was to establish a working relationship; gain support and guidance in the areas of Technology, Governance, Human Resources and Product Development.
ECU Australia’s CEO Colin Daly said “ECU Australia is the largest locally based financial institution in the region and perfectly placed to assist Air Niugini Savings & Loans.”
The visit included a tour of ECU Australia’s Head Office and Cairns Branch and meetings with several senior executives. Air Niugini Savings & Loans CEO David Munaga said “The visit was very beneficial, with a number of positive and productive outcomes. As Credit Unions, we face similar challenges and the relationship we have commenced with ECU Australia will be an invaluable support as we develop and grow over the coming years.”
