Advance Notice of 2011 Annual General Meeting and Call for Norminations for Director
The 2011 Annual General Meeting of ECU Australia Ltd will be held on Saturday 19 November 2011 at the Cairns Colonial Club Resort & Conference Centre, 18-26 Cannon Street, Cairns commencing at 7:00pm.
Nomination for Position of Director
In accordance with the ECU Australia Ltd’s Constitution, nominations are hereby called for three positions of Director. If a member intends to stand for election as a Director of ECU Australia Ltd, he/she must complete a Nomination For Director form, which is available from the Company Secretary by contacting Brett Myles on (07) 4046 8206 or email

. In order to be nominated, a candidate must be eligible under Section 13.2 of the Credit Union’s constitution.
The Constitution requires all candidates to be assessed by the Director Nominations Committee, to determine their fitness and propriety to act as an ECU Australia Ltd Director, in accordance with the requirements for the Board’s Fit & Proper Policy. To determine candidates fitness and propriety under the Board’s Fit & Proper Policy, candidates will be required to submit a Resume of skills and experience and to undergo an interview process with the Director Nominations Committee.
Following the assessment process the Director Nominations Committee will notify potential candidates of their status regarding their interest in Nominating as a Director. Nominations close at 5:00pm on 27 August 2011 with the Returning Officer.
