ECU Australia celebrated the opening of their new Atherton Branch with the official branch opening on Thursday 21st May 2009. ECU Australia’s CEO Brett Myles said “The opening has been extremely successful and we are pleased to see such a wonderful community response to our new branch. Locals have congratulated us on the modern, warm feel of the new branch and the convenience of its llocation, right next to IGA at the Atherton Silo centre.”
The official opening included a ribbon cutting and was celebrated with cake and morning tea. Wendy Judd ECU Australia’s Atherton Branch Manager said “Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and we have been delighted with the success of our first two weeks of operation. The support from the community has been overwhelming.”
